Stovetop (≈ 6 min)
Step 1. Bring 1500 mL (6 cups) of water to a boil in a pot. Add noodles (PACKET 1) and cook for 4 minutes.
Step 2. Add mixed vegetables (PACKET 4) and cook for 1 more minute. Drain thoroughly.
Step 3. Add paste (PACKET 2 & 3) to the pot. Stir-fry over low heat for 40 seconds. Then according to your preference add peanuts, chili oil (PACKET 5 & 6) and enjoy.

Originating in Chengdu, Sichuan in the mid-1800s, Dan Dan Noodles were first sold by street vendors carrying noodle poles — a humble dish that became a legend through generations of local cooks. Traditionally made with thin wheat noodles, stir-fried ground pork, pickled vegetables, chili oil, and Sichuan peppercorns, it embodies the essence of Sichuan flavor.
The result is a perfectly balanced bowl — nutty, spicy, and savory — offering both a bold kick and comforting depth, rich in protein and bursting with energy.

Step 0. Prepare the ground pork first: in a pan over medium heat, cook the pork for about 3–4 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Set aside.
Step 1. Bring 1500 mL (6 cups) of water to a boil in a pot. Add noodles (PACKET 1) and cook for 4 minutes.
Step 2. Add mixed vegetables (PACKET 4) and cook for 1 more minute. Drain thoroughly.
Step 3. Return the noodles and vegetables to the pot. Add the cooked pork.
Step 4. Add paste (PACKET 2 & 3) to the pot. Stir-fry over low heat for 40 seconds. Then according to your preference add peanuts, chili oil (PACKET 5 & 6) and enjoy.
